The Challenges
- The center’s outdoor space was a mix of dirt and aging asphalt, creating a dusty, uneven, and unsafe environment for both children and adults. This limited outdoor engagement and made it difficult to offer consistent activities.
- There was no structure to accommodate both play and relaxation in a single, cohesive space.
- MNTC wanted a beautiful, functional area that visually and emotionally supported the journey to long-term recovery.
